Two cities, one chance meeting, and a lifetime to go.
The first time I saw Tobi was at Covenant University. Back then, we were just acquaintances from afar. But on a faithful day, while I was walking through Faith Academy leading to Bishop David Oyedepo’s house, he greeted me from a distance. That simple greeting led us into a conversation, and soon after, we exchanged contacts.
Everything else unfolded with time and a vision that revealed who my man would be. Strangely, all of this came years after we had graduated from CU. Even when I felt unsure, the true picture became clearer, and from then on, everything became history.
His words continued to melt my heart. I remember vividly the very first time he told me he loved me. I had a very strong conviction within me that I had never felt that way before, and I kept asking myself, “Why him?” After all, we hadn’t been friends for long. I was just someone in the background, cheering him on and always rooting for him.
But God’s plans always make the path clearer.
